Front Page Flo

In June we traveled to the University of Akron's Daum Theatre to record the "staged reading" of Larry Kass' musical "Front Page Flo." The performance was choreographed by Tony-nominated George Pinney and was under the direction of music director Terry LaBolt. Larry is a long time friend of Audio, and we have recorded and provided audio for the radio broadcast of his "Mighty Wurlitzer Radio Hour" for many years. For this recording NAC Technologies supplied wireless head-worn mics for the cast and the show was multi-tracked using our Dante based recording rig. We mixed the recordings of the 2 performances down at the studio, and sent them for a Blu-Ray release by Larry's Razzmatazz Productions. You can also watch the full performance on YouTube ...

April Choir Recordings

April saw us working with several long-standing choral clients. We recorded the various ensembles as well as soloists from Federated Church in Chagrin Falls under the direction of Director of Music Ministries Chris Ludwa. They released "Unity: A Celebration of Music, Spirit & Song." We also recorded the Firestone High School choirs at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Akron, and choir director Chad Pittman brought the Vocal Jazz ensemble to the studio to record. We also traveled to the College of Wooster's Gault Recital Hall to record the College of Wooster Chorus under the direction of Dr. Lisa Wong. We love working with choral ensembles of any size and shape. Besides these great groups we have also recorded the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and the North Coast Men's Chorus as well as choirs from Baldwin-Wallace University and Mount Union University. ...

"Working with Bruce Gigax and his team at Audio Recording over the past 20-plus years has been more than just a wonderful experience for me and my company.   They invariably accommodate our scheduling anomalies; they continually upgrade equipment and techniques;  and they always deliver the very best product possible.

In fact, I can comfortably say that for my genre - spoken word meditation with music - there is no better studio for recording, editing, mixing and delivering the most beautiful sound possible."

"Bruce Gigax at Audio Recordings is an invaluable resource. His acute ear for music and sounds is very evident as I read my scripts, which is the narration for my DVDs. Bruce has a superior ability to hear if a word is not pronounced correctly, if my voice should be at a different level, or if I am speaking too quickly or too slowly.

Equally important he has the creativity to select and add the perfect music for various sections of my DVDs.

I have worked with Bruce for over twenty-five years and cannot praise him enough for his exceptional and outstanding work. Unequivocally he has my highest recommendation."

"My experiences with Audio Recording Studio have been incredible.  I am the Founder and Creator of No Diet Weight Solution.  An integral piece to my program includes a series of audio recordings which participants listen to throughout their journey with weight loss and learning a healthy lifestyle.

Bruce has produced many versions of my company's CDs over the years. I return to Audio each time I have a new project.  From a technical and customer service standpoint, they do a phenomenal job.  They are my top choice for my recording needs. I would recommend Audio Recording Studio to anyone who is looking for a quality product, quality service, and a superior working relationship."

Curious Critters, Dave FitzSimmons

Photographer David FitzSimmons turns his camera on a variety of animals common throughout North America.

CURIOUS CRITTERS presents stunning images of everyday animals, including a red flat bark beetle, an Eastern spiny softshell turtle, a spotted salamander, and many other intriguing creatures. Each Curious Critter is photographed against a white backdrop, showcasing the animal's colors, textures, and shapes with precision and clarity.

Along with each photo is an entertaining and educational vignette, told from the critter's perspective: a bush katydid explains her bubblegum-pink color, a poetic opossum opines upon her often-shortened name, and a far-from-modest black swallowtail butterfly lets readers in on her secret for avoiding predators. Young boys and girls will delight in these colorful critters and their tales.  You'll never see anything like it.

AnimalHero™ and AnimalHero™Kids, Laurel Herman

AnimalHero™ and AnimalHero™Kids were established in 2005 when Laurel Herman visited India.

She met three young girls who took extraordinary measures to care for animals. They asked her to help spread the word that kindness to animals is important.

Laurel promised the girls she would start an organization to connect and celebrate children and adults worldwide that help animals.

Laurel and her husband, Dave Crawley (Official AnimalHero™ Pet Laureate, TV Reporter and Children's Author) have been recording pet poetry for children and is in the midst of a poetry recording with us.
